BEST Solutions is a small single owner run business dealing with the design, development, manufacture, distribution, and sales of diagnostic, therapeutic and personal self improvement instrumentation and equipment. This business will focus on the technological development of devices to support the newly growing field of energetic medicine. Initial Research and Development will focus on the measurement and processing of higher than normally measured frequency bio-electric, magnetic and electromagnetic physiological signals, which are correlates of the Human Energy Field (HEF). The new science of Vibrational or Energetic Medicine has its foundation in the belief that we humans are energetic beings before we are physical beings. The HEF fully penetrates the physical body and extends well beyond its physical limits. The HEF has been known to exist for ages, and has been identified throughout history by such names as chi, ki, prana, mana, grace, od, orgone and the force, just to name a few. Only in the present century has our technology advanced to the state that our scientific instrumentation can now measure these subtle energy signals and fields. Over the last three decades numerous scientists, medical doctors and healers have made great strides in measuring, testing and defining the HEF. Dr. Robert Becker, an orthopedic surgeon in New York, measured direct current control systems of the human body[1] correlating results with health and disease. Dr. John Pierrakos, founder and director of Core Energetics in New York, along with Richard Dobrin and Barbara Brennan correlated HEF observations[2] with emotional response. David Frost, Barbara Brennan, and Karen Gestla demonstrated that the HEF could be directed to bend the coherent light beam of a laser. Dr. Hiroshi Motoyama, founder of the Institute of Religion and Psychology in Tokyo and the California Institute for Human Science in Encinitas, electrically measured the acupuncture meridians[3] and their major pressure points testing for imbalances and using the results for the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Motoyama’s AMI Machine, short for Apparatus for Measuring the Functions of the Meridians and Corresponding Internal Organ has 28 electrodes, acupuncture needles or specialized clips, that attach to the fingers and toes. Dr. Reinhardt Voll creator of the Voll Machine [4] tests the electrical characteristics of single accupoints, detects imbalances by which diagnosis of specific illnesses can be made, then matches the illness to specific energetic remedies that can be administered by the same machine. Dr. Victor Inyushin of Kazakhstan University, who has been measuring the HEF for many years, has defined a fifth state of matter called bioplasma composed of free ions and has determined that health equates to the balance of positive and negative ions in the HEF. Dr. Valerie Hunt, while head of the Physiology Department at UCLA, first measured distinct electrical waveforms[5] that could be correlated to the different colors of the human aura or energy field. Rev. Rosalyn Bruyere, was the primary aura reader used by Dr. Hunt[6]. Both Rosalyn Bruyere and Barbara Brennan are able to see the HEF or aura, and teach that anybody can learn such skills. Dr. Elmer Green, pioneer of biofeedback and cofounder of the ISSSEEM, performed copper wall experiments with healers measuring voltages up to 220 volts induced by these subjects onto a copper wall while performing healings on their patients. Dr. Andria Puharich has measured life-enhancing alternating magnetic fields (8 Hz) from healer’s hands and found that higher or lower frequencies can be detrimental to life. Dr. Robert Beck, a nuclear physicist, correlated healer’s magnetic pulses with the pulsations of the earth’s magnetic field. Dr. John Zimmerman of the Bio-Electro-Magnetics Institute of Reno, Nevada has determined that when a healer becomes grounded, his energy field links with the magnetic field of the earth. The right and left hemispheres of the healer’s brain become balanced, and while laying on of hands, he can bring his patient’s brain waves into like synchronization. The “Subtle Energy Administration and Interpretation of Human Electromagnetics” Project, or The “SADIE” Project in short, is named in honor of my grandmother, Sadie Norman. The SADIE line of instruments can be used for research and development, clinical diagnosis, therapeutic support to more traditional medical procedures and as a personal biofeedback device for self-healing and personal improvement. SADIE instruments will be primarily based on the works of Dr. Hiroshi Motoyama, Dr. Reinhardt Voll, Dr. Valerie Hunt, and Dr. Elmer Green. Electrical signals will be measured at accupoints along the meridians of the body. Over 30 electrodes or other sensors can be monitored. See the diagram below for a first cut description of the first generation SADIE Instrument.
What will be unique about the SADIE line of instruments is that they will be research level instruments that can be run on an off-the-shelf Windows PC, that will cost the user 60% to 80% less than comparable industry standard test equipment. This is made possible by an off the shelf test and measurement data acquisition and analysis software program called LabVIEW, which is sold by National Instruments of Austin, Texas. Virtual Instruments such as oscilloscopes, voltmeters, signal and spectrum analyzers, and digital filters can be programmed to read and process these important signals. Prior to Dr. Valerie Hunt’s work in the mid-1970s, this signal information was thought to be noise or artifact riding on standard physiological waveforms such as the EEG, ECG, and EMG. With the phenomenal advances in personal computer and data acquisition technology over the past ten years the ability to measure these higher frequency signals is now in an affordable price range for the small business owner and average computer owner. In addition, the same computer can be used to perform all other standard computing operations of the customer’s business. In effect, the low user cost for the SADIE Instrument additions, approximately $2000.00 to $4000.00, if the user already has a PC, makes these instruments accessible to healers, nurses, psychologists, counselors, and bodyworkers, as well as scientists, engineers and doctors working in this exciting new field of energy medicine. The software and hardware used to develop the prototype SADIE instrument is listed below: LabVIEW Professional Development System for Windows 2000/NT/XP/Me/9x Version 7.0, part number 776678-03 ($3495) LabVIEW Report Generation Toolkit for Microsoft Office for Windows 2000/NT/XP/Me/9x, part number 778406-03 ($495) Signal Processing Toolset (includes Joint Time-Frequency Analysis Toolkit) for LabVIEW and Windows 2000/NT/XP/Me/9x, part number 777136-01 ($995) Allows measurement in both the frequency and time domain, simultaneously. GPIB-USB-B Controller with NI 488.2 software, for Windows 2000/NT/XP/Me/9x, part number 778416-01 ($495) Portable Multifunction DAQCard- 6062E, part number 777976-01 ($1,195), 16 Cannel Analog Input, 2 Channel Analog Output, 8 Channel Digital Input/Output, 2 24-bit Counters Dynamic Signal Analyzer, PCI-4551, part number 777726-01 ($5495) As my first project, the SADIE Instrument will be used to help measure the effects of the Rife Beam Ray on the human body, specifically, my own body.
